The Alchemy Startup Program supports teams building blockchain applications on Alchemy’s node, data and wallet infrastructure. Qualified teams receive Alchemy credits, $5,000 in AWS credits and round-the-clock engineering support. Alchemy does not publish how large its own credit grant is, so the AWS credits are the only fixed figure. We checked Alchemy’s official programme page on 1 November 2026.
What you get
Alchemy lists four benefits for qualified teams:
| Benefit | What Alchemy says |
|---|---|
| Alchemy credits | Applied directly to your account to offset infrastructure costs. No amount published. |
| AWS credits | $5,000 for compute, storage and databases on AWS |
| Engineering support | 24/7 access to Alchemy’s engineers for debugging, architecture advice and direct help |
| Partner network | Introductions, co-marketing and launch support through Alchemy’s VCs, accelerators and chain partners |
Qualified teams also get a dedicated onboarding experience.
How the Alchemy credits work
The credits sit on your Alchemy account and offset the cost of your plan, whether you are on pay-as-you-go or an enterprise contract. They are applied automatically to future invoices, so you do not need to redeem them manually.
Alchemy’s infrastructure covers RPC access to more than 100 chains, WebSockets, trace and debug APIs, indexed data APIs for tokens, transfers, prices and NFTs, webhooks, wallet and transaction APIs, and gas management. The programme page does not list which of these products the credits can or cannot be spent on, so assume they apply to your Alchemy plan costs and confirm anything specific with the team.
Who qualifies
Alchemy keeps eligibility broad: any team building onchain can apply. That includes VC-backed teams, accelerator participants and founders bootstrapping their first project. The stated test is that you are building something real.
Some groups can get more:
- Partner-referred startups: portfolio companies referred by Alchemy’s VC and accelerator partners can receive enhanced benefits through a dedicated programme for that fund.
- Existing customers: current Alchemy customers who are affiliated with a partner may qualify for additional benefits after a review.
Alchemy does not publish funding caps, company age limits or excluded business types on the programme page.
How to apply
Alchemy describes a three-step process:
- Fill in the form on the programme page with your name, email, company, your monthly RPC request volume (under 50M, 50M-100M, 100M-200M or over 200M) and, optionally, your Telegram handle and a description of what you are building.
- Talk to Alchemy’s team. It reviews the submission and schedules a call.
- Start building. Once you qualify, Alchemy says credits reach your account within days.
There is no pitch deck or long application. Alchemy says the form takes about 30 seconds.
Things to check before you apply
- Ask for the numbers. Since the credit amount is not published, ask on the call how much you will receive, how long it lasts and whether it covers your current plan in full.
- Fill in RPC volume honestly. The volume question likely shapes the conversation and the offer, so base it on real traffic or a realistic forecast.
- Use your partners. If your investor or accelerator works with Alchemy, say so in the form. Partner-referred companies can receive enhanced benefits.
- Clarify the AWS credits. Ask how the $5,000 in AWS credits is delivered and whether it can be combined with any AWS Activate credits you already hold.
- Watch for chain-specific offers. Alchemy also promotes separate credit offers tied to particular networks from time to time, which can be worth more for teams building on that chain.
How it compares
General cloud programmes such as AWS Activate or Google’s Cloud Program pay for servers and storage, while Alchemy’s credits pay for blockchain node and data infrastructure that those clouds do not provide directly. For an onchain team, the two kinds of credit work well together, and the $5,000 AWS bundle is a useful start on the cloud side.
